We met Kari Carson at an open house at the beginning of our home buying search. During most of the open houses we attended, we felt uncomfortable or bombarded by the real estate agent, but Kari was different. She listened to what we had to say and just seemed genuine. No sales pitch, just open friendly talk. She asked us what we were looking for and gave us great suggestions for neighborhoods to start our search. We also really liked that educating new homebuyers was one of her interests.

Kari was pregnant and soon to go on maternity leave when we first met her, but we kept thinking about our great experience with her as we moved forward with our house hunt. Around the time we started seriously looking for houses, we decided to contact Kari. She was still on maternity leave, but she would be back in a few weeks. She did not expect us to wait for her and later we even found out that she was surprised we waited. We had not found a real estate agent that even made us feel half as comfortable as Kari. Waiting the few weeks for her was the best decision we made.

Kari takes the extra time to make sure you understand the entire process and prepares you for the intense experience of buying a home. Since we were first time homebuyers, we really needed some time to understand the process, jargon, and even what we really wanted in a home. We had a million questions and Kari was always there with not only the answers but also perspective on how to approach the hurdles of buying our first home. We sat down with Kari on our first meeting and she went through the whole process with us from start to finish. She even provided us with a packet of information we could take home and slowly take in all the insanity of buying a house.

We really appreciated how much Kari listened to us and helped guide, but not push us. She was someone we could really trust with the biggest purchase of our lives. She gave us the time and attention we needed and she was always prompt with updates and answering questions (even though she was also adjusting to being a new Mom).

We looked at many houses and made a few offers. In the end, we found our perfect first home. Although the process was frustrating at times, we were so happy to have Kari by our side. Kari was always calm and professional through the entire processes. She made the tough times easier.
